For a luxury resort-style vacation, head to San Felipe. This former fishing village has a beautiful boardwalk and stunning beaches on the Sea of Cortez. The island of Guadalupe, located off the coast of the peninsula, has crystal clear waters full of marine life, making it an ideal place for snorkeling and diving excursions.

Explore the Sierra de San Pedro Mártir National Park to hike and camp in the nature of Baja California. In this place, impressive mountains dominate the landscape and you can see condors slowly circling over them. Sail to the pristine beaches of Partida Island and the other islands of the San Lorenzo Archipelago Marine National Park.

To get to Baja California Norte, you can take a flight to the international airports of Mexicali and Tijuana. There are six border crossings from Baja California to the United States, and trucks pass from one side to the other several times a day.
