Another excellent option is the <b>Mercado de San Pedro<\/b> where you can taste the traditional cemitas.<\/p><p>You can travel by train from Puebla to Cholula on the <b>Tourist Train<\/b>. To board, you have to arrive 30 minutes in advance and the terminal is located in the Archaeological Zone of Cholula.<\/p><p>There is also a tram that offers a three and a half hour ride around the city. The tour departs from the Zocalo of Puebla and goes through the main attractions of Cholula. <i>It leaves every day at 11:00 hrs.<\/i><\/p><h3>Tourist Attractions in CHOLULA<\/h3><p>The meeting place of San Pedro Cholula is the monumental <b>Plaza de la Concordia<\/b>, flanked by the <b>Ex-convent of San Gabriel<\/b> and the <b>Guerrero portal<\/b>, which is the longest in Mexico with 170 meters in length and 46 semicircular arches. This square dates from 1573 when it was built to house the busy tianguis. In 1646, it was remodeled and boasts a beautiful <b>fountain of San Miguel Arc\u00e1ngel<\/b> donated in 1554 by Felipe II of Spain.<\/p><p>This is where the <b><a href=\"https:\/\/sic.gob.mx\/ficha.php?table=zona_arqueologica&amp;table_id=80\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Great Pyramid of Cholula<\/a><\/b> is located, which has the appearance of a hill, since it is composed of a series of superimposed pyramids and is the largest in the world with 450 meters per side.
