Nuevo Le\u00f3n is an ideal place to visit if you want to experience a memorable vacation. The state, whose capital is Monterrey, has a diverse range of natural and cultural sites, as well as a solid hotel and service infrastructure, making it a popular tourist destination.<\/p>

Among the places to visit in Nuevo Le\u00f3n are the Grutas de Garc\u00eda, which are surrounded by desert landscapes and numerous caves, making it a great destination for adventurers. The Museum of Mexican History, another popular attraction, houses the most relevant national historical exhibition in northern Mexico. The Old Town, with its numerous alleys and beautiful houses, is the ideal space to walk and explore the old town of Monterrey.<\/p>

While Nuevo Le\u00f3n is considered a state for business tourism and meetings, it has been gaining popularity among adventure lovers, offering activities such as canyoning, rappelling, bungee jumping, and canopy tours. Natural landscapes such as the Huasteca, the Garc\u00eda and Bustamante Caves, and the Cola de Caballo make the stay of visitors comfortable, given the high temperatures that prevail in the state.<\/p>

The Cola de Caballo, a state park located in the municipality of Santiago, approximately 40 kilometers from Monterrey, is another popular destination. Its main attraction is the great waterfall of 27 meters high with crystalline water that comes down from the Sierra Madre Oriental. Visitors can also ride horses, bungee jump from 70 meters high, or zip-line through the wooded area.<\/p>

The Magical Town of Santiago, framed by the Santiago Ap\u00f3stol church, is also recognized for its gastronomic offer in the corridor known as Los Cavazos, in addition to the restaurants located in the main square. Adventure tourism and ecotourism are popular here, as it has a variety of canyons such as Matacanes and Chipit\u00edn, among others.<\/p>

Fundidora Park, developed on the land where the Monterrey Iron and Steel Smelter used to be, is another popular destination. The state park frames the Santa Luc\u00eda channel, a route that is made in small boats. Inside Fundidora, visitors can also find the Horno 3 Steel Museum, the “Nave Lewis” Exhibition Center, the Arts Center, an ice rink, and the theme parks of La Casa de los Loros and Sesame Street. Access to the park is free.<\/p>

Las Grutas de Garc\u00eda, located in the municipality of Garc\u00eda towards Saltillo, is one of the most visited caverns by foreign tourists. To get to the entrance of the route, visitors must use the funicular and wear comfortable shoes and clothing. The walk has an estimated duration of two hours where visitors can travel inside the cavern for 2.5 kilometers, and its average temperature indoors is 18 degrees Celsius.<\/p>

The La Boca or Rodrigo G\u00f3mez Dam, originally created to supply water to the metropolitan area, has become a popular recreational space for families. Visitors can enjoy horseback riding, quad biking, boating, catamaran sailing, fishing, and jet skiing while attending the different restaurants, mostly seafood. It is located in the municipality of Santiago, approximately six kilometers from the municipal seat.<\/p>
